The details we cut in

Cotton gingham weave

The plain-weave cotton is lightweight, breathable, and washed for a soft hand right away. The light brown check is woven into the cloth rather than printed on top, so the colour stays clear after repeated washing.

Elastic waistband

We gathered the top edge over a wide elastic band that sits flat without bunching awkwardly. It pulls on easily and holds its place without the bulk of a drawstring or metal hardware.

Side seam pockets

Two practical pockets are set right into the side seams. They sit deep enough to hold a phone or small essentials and lie flat when empty so the hip line stays clean.

Straight hem and care

The legs fall straight from the hip down to an open hem that rests comfortably over flat shoes. Machine wash on a gentle cycle with like colours, then line dry or tumble dry low to preserve the cotton weave.
