We cut this short-sleeve shirt with a relaxed camp collar and a full front button placket. The lightweight chiffon fabric is printed in soft tones of light blue and pink floral work, hanging loose through the body with a straight hem you can leave out over shorts or tuck in.

The details we cut in

Collar and placket

The open camp collar lies flat against the neck and leads into a clean button-down front. You can fasten it all the way up or leave it open as a light outer layer over a plain camisole.

Raglan short sleeves

We used a raglan sleeve cut rather than a set-in shoulder seam. The diagonal seam allows easy arm movement across the upper back, while the short sleeve ends well above the elbow.

Lightweight chiffon weave

The plain-weave chiffon is thin, smooth to the touch, and moves easily without stiffness. It packs down small for travel and dries quickly after washing.

Care and maintenance

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle or wash by hand. Hang on a line or hanger to dry to preserve the drape of the chiffon, and avoid bleach.
