We cut this two-piece set from fleece-backed jersey with room through the body and legs. The top has a ribbed crewneck without a hood to sit flat under outerwear. Below, the trousers fall straight from a wide casing with an adjustable inner cord.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Crewneck and shoulders

The sweatshirt drops off the natural shoulder into a loose sleeve with ribbed cuffs. We finished the rounded neckline with ribbed trim that holds its shape through regular wash cycles.

Mama chest print

Across the chest, we printed block lettering against the pink knit. The ink sits flat into the fabric surface so the jersey bends naturally without cracking when folded.

Wide leg and waist

The trousers run wide and straight from the hip down to open cuffs. You can wear the elasticated waistband high with the drawcord tucked inside, or fold it over once.

Pockets and care

Deep side pockets sit along the side seams to hold small items. Machine wash both pieces cold inside out with like colours, then tumble dry low or lay flat to dry.
