We cut this two-piece lounge set from a soft knit with brushed fleece on the reverse side. The top has a wide crew neckline and dropped shoulders without the bulk of a hood. Down below, the trousers fall straight through the leg from a convertible waistband, joined by deep side pockets.

The details we cut in

Crewneck top cut

The sweatshirt uses a relaxed crewneck band that sits flat against the collarbone. Dropped shoulders give the body a wide, square hang, leaving room for a light base layer underneath.

Convertible waistband

The pants feature an elasticated waistband threaded with an interior flat drawcord. You can wear it upright with the cord tucked inside, or fold the band over to show the ties.

Wide trouser leg

The legs run loose from the hip to an open hem rather than a gathered cuff. Side slant pockets sit flat against the hip line to hold a phone or small essentials.

Brushed fleece interior

We chose a midweight knit backed with lofted fleece for quiet warmth indoors or on travel days. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and dry flat to keep the fleece soft.
