We cut this two-piece set with an oversized crewneck top and wide-leg trousers lined in soft fleece. The dropped shoulder gives the sweatshirt room through the chest, while the trousers fall straight from a drawcord waist to an open hem. We finished the chest with a New York graphic print on grey.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Crewneck top cut

The sweatshirt has a ribbed round collar and a dropped shoulder seam for a roomy hang through the body. Ribbing at the cuffs and hem keeps the fleece-lined knit sitting square without bunching.

Wide-leg trouser shape

We cut the trousers loose through the hip and thigh, falling into a wide, straight leg down to the ankle. Side slip pockets sit flat in the seams to carry small essentials.

Convertible waistband

The elastic waistband houses an inner drawstring. You can wear the band upright with the cord tucked away inside, or fold the top edge down over itself to expose the ties at the hip.

Fleece backing and care

A brushed fleece backing runs through both the top and trousers for soft interior warmth. Machine wash cold with like colours on a gentle cycle, then lay flat or tumble dry low.
