We cut this two-piece set from a fleece-backed knit with a smooth outer face and a brushed interior. The top features a dropped shoulder and an open crew neckline, while the trousers fall straight from the hips into an ungathered lower hem. Both pieces pack flat and move easily together.

Oversized top cut

The crewneck sweatshirt sits loose through the body with dropped shoulders and ribbed cuffs. We skipped the hood to keep the collar flat when worn beneath heavier outerwear.

Wide leg trousers

The bottoms are cut broad through the thigh and calf with open hems that drape over shoes. Deep side pockets sit flat along the hip seams for keys or travel cards.

Convertible waist cord

An interior drawstring lets you tie the elastic waistband on the inside for a smooth front. You can also fold the band over to bring the cord to the outside.

Lining and laundering

Brushed fleece backing traps warmth against the body without added bulk. Machine wash in cold water with similar darks, then tumble dry low or lay flat to dry.
