We cut this two-piece set from a knit fabric with a brushed fleece interior for cooler weather. The top is an unhooded crewneck with a dropped shoulder and an open body. Below, the trousers fall wide from an elasticated drawstring waist.

The details we cut in

Crewneck top cut

The sweatshirt sits loose through the chest and arms without the extra weight of a hood. Ribbing trims the round neckline, cuffs, and lower hem to keep the shape tidy over a base layer.

Waistband and drawstring

We set an internal drawstring into the elastic waistband. You can wear the band straight with the cord hidden inside, or roll the top edge down to sit lower on the hips.

Wide leg trouser

The pants drop straight from the hip into a wide, open hem. Side pockets are stitched into the side seams deep enough to hold keys or a phone without pulling at the waist.

Brushed fleece interior

The outer face is smooth, while the inside is brushed into a soft fleece loft that holds warmth. Wash the set in cold water on a gentle cycle and hang it flat to dry.
