We cut this two-piece set from a warm knit backed with brushed fleece. The top stays roomy through the body with a clean crewneck, while the trousers fall straight and wide to the floor. An internal drawstring allows the waist to be worn up or turned down.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Brushed fleece interior

We back the knit fabric with a dense fleece lining that holds warmth without adding stiff weight. The surface stays smooth, and the inside feels soft against the body for colder days.

Oversized crewneck cut

We built the top with a dropped shoulder, ribbed neckband, and a roomy torso that layers easily over a base tee. Leaving off the hood keeps the neckline flat under outer coats.

Convertible drawstring waist

The trousers feature an internal drawstring at the elastic waistband. You can wear the band unfolded to conceal the cord, or roll it over once at the waist for a lower rise.

Wide leg with side pockets

We cut the trousers loose through the hip and leg so the fleece fabric hangs straight. Deep side pockets sit flat along the outer seams to hold keys or a phone.
