What went into it
The details we cut in
Tiered ruffle hem
We set gathered tiers into the outer skirt to create full flare at the hem. The cut stays wide around the thighs so strides remain unrestricted.
Elasticated drawcord waist
The waistband is cased with wide elastic that sits high on the hips. We added an exterior drawstring through the front channel to adjust the tension.
Integrated inner short
Underneath the ruffled outer shell, we stitched a pair of lightweight undershorts. The inner legs are cut close to stay put when walking or stretching.
Cold water wash
Wash this piece by hand or on a gentle machine cycle in cold water with matched colours. Line dry away from direct heat and skip the bleach.
