What went into it
The details we cut in
Tiered ruffled hem
Two gathered tiers flare toward the bottom hem for easy movement. The outer skirt drapes loosely around the thighs while the underlayer short remains hidden beneath the ruffles.
Elastic waistband and drawcord
We run an elastic band through the high waistband and thread a matching cord through the front. It pulls tight without binding and holds the waist in place during active movement.
Inner short lining
A fitted short is sewn directly into the waistband under the ruffled skirt. The smooth fabric layer allows you to stretch, run, or bend without shifting the outer drape.
Care and wash
Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with like colors or wash by hand. Hang the piece on a line to dry and avoid bleach to protect the purple dye.
