We cut this hooded rain jacket from a lightweight waterproof shell printed in a navy blue floral pattern. The body is lined in a soft plaid cloth that keeps the outer layer off your arms. A drawn waist cord lets you pull the middle in close against the wind.

Hood and waist cords

We build the hood directly onto the collar with adjustable drawstrings to pull it tight. A second cord runs through the waist channel so you can change the coat from a straight drop to a gathered middle.

Plaid inner lining

The body and hood carry a soft plaid lining that sits smooth against lighter layers. It adds a light barrier between your clothes and the treated outer fabric so the shell does not stick when the weather turns wet.

Front pocket storage
