We cut this hooded rain coat from a smooth, wind-resistant shell fabric treated for wet weather. Inside, a lightweight gray-blue plaid lining sits flat against your base layers. The hem falls below the hip, balanced by an adjustable waist cord so you can pull the middle in close or leave it open to catch air.

Hood and neckline

The hood attaches cleanly at the tall collar to keep rain off your neck. We thread it with an adjustable drawstring so the brim stays put when the wind picks up.

Waistband and front pockets

An internal drawcord lets you cinch the waistline to adjust how the coat hangs over thick layers. Deep front pockets sit flat against the hips to hold small trail items.

Gray-blue plaid lining

The interior is fully lined in a lightweight woven plaid that glides smoothly over knit sweaters and shirts. It adds structure to the outer shell without packing heavy in a bag.

Washing and care

Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag or wash by hand to preserve the outer coating. Hang the coat to dry. Do not apply a hot iron to the shell.
