We cut this lightweight rain jacket from a coated windproof shell finished in khaki floral. Inside, a soft plaid lining runs through the body and hood for a clean contrast when unzipped. An adjustable drawstring at the waist lets you alter the silhouette across the midsection.

The details we cut in

Hood and neckline

The attached hood is shaped with an integrated drawstring to cinch close around the face in heavy wind. A full-length front zipper runs high into the neck for coverage along the collar.

Drawstring waist and hem

We set an internal drawstring channel through the waistline so you can adjust the gather. The lower hem falls past the hips in a loose, casual line that leaves room for midlayers underneath.

Pockets and plaid lining

Two deep front pockets sit flat against the lower panels for quick access to trail smalls. We lined the entire interior in a classic woven plaid fabric that adds weight without bulk.

Fabric and wash care

The outer shell uses a lightweight waterproof weave that dries quickly after squalls and packs down small. Hand wash or run on a gentle machine cycle, then hang to dry without ironing.
