We cut this blouse from lightweight chiffon in an orange floral print. The neckline opens with a small mandarin collar into a shallow V and a partial button placket down the chest. Three-quarter sleeves keep the cuffs clear of a desk or counter. It hangs straight through the body with a clean finished hem.

The details we cut in

Mandarin collar and placket

A standing mandarin band frames the neck and splits into a front V. Small buttons run partway down the chest, so you can leave the top fastening open or closed.

Three-quarter sleeve cut

The sleeves finish below the elbow with a plain hem. The shorter length stays out of the way during desk work and needs no rolling or pinning.

Lightweight chiffon weave

We chose a light chiffon with a soft, fluid hang that lets air move through the body. The orange floral pattern is printed directly onto the fine weave before cutting.

Cold wash and line dry

Wash by hand or on a cold machine cycle. Hang on a line or hanger to dry without heat, and skip the bleach to keep the orange tones clear.
