We cut this blouse from a lightweight woven fabric with raised swiss dot tufts across the body. The mandarin collar opens into a shallow V-neckline with a small row of matching buttons down the placket. A centre back pleat adds ease across the shoulders and lets the back panel hang straight.

The details we cut in

Mandarin collar and placket

A low standing band frames the neck and drops into a front placket with tonal buttons. You can leave the top buttons undone for a relaxed open collar.

Sleeve and shoulder cut

The three-quarter sleeves are set into standard shoulders with straight armholes. The cuffs finish flat around the forearm so they stay in place without pulling.

Back pleat and hem

A neat pleat runs from the back yoke downward. It gives room through the upper back while keeping the curved hem loose over trousers or skirts.

Woven fabric and care

The sky blue base fabric has a raised dot texture woven throughout. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and hang on a line to dry.
