We cut this top from a lightweight woven cloth textured with raised Swiss dots throughout. A split band collar runs into a partial front placket, balanced by a pleated panel across the back yoke. The three-quarter sleeves hit below the elbow for ease of movement.

The details we cut in

Mandarin collar and placket

The neck opens into a split mandarin band that feeds down into a neat button placket. You can unbutton the top fastenings to adjust how open the neckline sits against the collarbone.

Pleated back construction

We gathered the back panel beneath a flat yoke seam. The pleat adds ease across the shoulder blades so the cloth drapes freely down to the curved bottom hem without pulling.

Three quarter sleeves

The sleeves are cut to a three-quarter length with a clean finished cuff. This keeps the lower arms clear while giving light coverage down past the bend of the elbow.

Wash and care

Launder on a gentle cycle in cold water or hand wash to protect the woven dot texture. Hang the shirt on a line to dry. Skip the bleach to preserve the rose red shade.
