We cut this tunic with an open square neckline and an elasticated smocked bodice that holds close through the ribs. Short gathered sleeves puff slightly at the shoulder before settling into a soft band. Below the smocking, the lightweight woven fabric releases into a loose peplum hem.

Square neck cut

The neckline sits wide across the collarbone with clean folded edges that hold their square shape without gaping or pulling across the chest.

Smocked elastic bodice

Parallel rows of fine elastic thread run through the chest panel. This smocking expands to step into the garment and draws back gently for a snug fit.

Gathered puff sleeve

We set volume into the sleeve cap with small gathered tucks. The cuff uses soft tension to rest easily around the upper arm without pinching.
