Square neck and smocking

The square neckline sits wide across the collarbone. Beneath it, rows of elastic thread create a flexible smocked bodice that holds close through the chest before releasing at the waist.

Puff short sleeves

We cut the short sleeves with gathers at the shoulder seam and elastic at the cuffs. The puff shape holds its volume without pulling across the arm.

Babydoll peplum hem

The gathered peplum flares out from the bottom of the smocking, falling loose over the hips. It hangs freely around the waistline without drawing in at the bottom.
