We cut this tunic in a lightweight stretch knit with a star print over deep wine red. Front pleats release fullness below the overlapped V-neckline, while the sleeves gather at the shoulder and finish in subtle ruffles. The hem hangs straight past the hip.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Neckline and front pleats
An overlapped band frames the V-neck, setting up soft pleats that run down the centre front. The folds open through the torso, giving the knit fabric room to fall without pulling across the chest.
Sleeve and cuff detail
We gathered the sleeve heads to build a puff shape along the upper arm. The long sleeves narrow toward the wrists and finish with small, ruffled edge hems that hold their shape as you move.
Knit fabric and star print
A light blend of synthetic and stretch yarns gives this top a smooth face and a supple hand. Small stars are printed across the wine red base, dyed deep enough to stay opaque in bright indoor light.
Hemline and washing care
The hem is cut long and finished with twin-needle stitching to sit flat over trousers or skirts. Hand wash cold or run on a gentle machine cycle, then iron on low heat to smooth the front folds.
