We cut this tunic from a flexible polyester and rayon jersey with a touch of stretch. The overlapped v-neck leads into gentle front pleats, while the long sleeves gather at the shoulder and wrist for a subtle ruffle effect. It hangs loose past the hip.

The details we cut in

Neckline and pleats

The crossover v-neck creates an open collar line that settles flat against the chest. Below the stitch, stitched front pleats release into the body to give the jersey room to drape.

Sleeve and cuff

We set the sleeve head with small puffs at the shoulder seam. The long cuff finishes with a gathered ruffle that stays clear of the wrists when you work at a desk.

Jersey knit blend

The knit blends polyester and rayon with spandex for stretch across the back. It holds a soft, lightweight hand and moves easily without feeling stiff or clingy.

Washing and care

Wash cold on a gentle cycle or wash by hand. Hang the tunic to dry to protect the pleated front, and smooth with a cool iron if needed.
