We cut this tunic with an overlapped V-neck and front pleats that give the fabric room to drape. The knit blend has added stretch, resting light against the torso. A curved tunic hem extends past the hips, framed by gathered long sleeves that finish in small ruffle cuffs.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Neckline and front pleats
The neckline overlaps in a clean V that stays flat against the chest. Underneath, subtle stitched pleats open downward, allowing the woven knit to fall loosely without pulling across the upper body.
Puff and ruffle sleeves
Each sleeve gathers slightly at the shoulder seam for subtle volume before tapering toward the wrist. We finished the cuffs with gathered elastic and a small ruffle trim that keeps the sleeve in place.
Knit fabric drape
We chose a blended knit that combines smooth drape with slight horizontal stretch. The fabric is lightweight and moves easily, printed throughout with dark leaf motifs against an apricot base.
Washing and care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or wash by hand in cool water to protect the pleats and cuff elastic. Line dry and use a low iron setting if you need to smooth the hem.
