We cut this blouse with an overlapped V-neck and neat pleats running down the center chest. The green floral print covers a lightweight jersey blend that holds some stretch. Ruffle details finish the cuffs on the puff sleeves. It hangs straight to the hip so you can leave it untucked or tuck the front into trousers.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Neckline and pleating
The front neckline overlaps in a clean V, set above vertical pleats that open into the body of the shirt. This gives the chest ease without adding bulk at the shoulder seam.
Ruffle puff sleeve
We gathered the sleeve head to give it a slight puff, then finished the long cuff with an applied ruffle. The wrist band keeps the cuff in place when you push your sleeves up.
Draped jersey fabric
The fabric blends polyester and rayon with spandex for stretch across the back. It hangs with a fluid drape and stays light against the body through warm afternoons.
Green floral print and care
Small floral sprigs in pale tones scatter across a deep green ground. Wash this top by hand or in cold water on a gentle machine cycle, and press with low iron heat if needed.
