We cut this tunic from a lightweight polyester, rayon, and spandex knit that carries stretch and hangs straight down the torso. An overlapped V-neckline leads into front pleats, while the long sleeves finish with a gathered puff and ruffled edge. The white ground carries a warm brown floral print.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Overlapped neckline and pleats
The neck is constructed with an overlapped V-band that sits flat against the collarbone. Beneath it, gentle front pleats open down the chest to give the jersey body room to move without pulling across the shoulders.
Puff and ruffle sleeve
The sleeves are cut with slight volume through the lower arm, gathered into a narrow seam before flaring into a soft ruffle cuff. The wrist stays flexible throughout the day.
Lightweight stretch knit
We chose a blend of polyester, rayon, and spandex for a smooth, fluid hang and reliable recovery. It breathes well in warm rooms and packs flat without heavy creasing.
Care and maintenance
Machine wash on a cold cycle or wash by hand. Hang or lay flat to dry to keep the ruffles crisp, and use a low-heat iron if you want to smooth out the pleats.
