We cut this cold-weather hood from thick sherpa fleece to combine a hat, face panel, and neck gaiter in one piece. The lower hem extends down to tuck directly beneath jacket collars. Twin drawstrings tighten the face opening against raw wind.

Sherpa fleece build
The lofted fleece fabric holds heat through the crown and neck while remaining soft and flexible. It rolls down small enough to stow in a coat pocket when not in use.
Adjustable face opening
Dual cords thread through the front edge to cinch the opening tight around goggles or loosen it completely. The lower panel can sit over the nose or pull beneath the chin.
Extended lower skirt
We cut the bottom hem with extra length so it stays tucked into your outer coat. This eliminates open gaps at the throat and collar line where drafty air enters.
Washing and care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle to preserve the fleece pile. Shake the piece out and line dry flat away from direct heat to maintain the shape.
