We cut this fleece hood with full head, cheek, and neck coverage in a warm coffee brown. The front panel pulls over the nose or settles below the chin, while the long lower drape tucks beneath coat collars. It folds down flat into a pocket when you step inside.

Sherpa fleece build
We cut this piece from a lofted sherpa fleece that holds its structure without adding stiffness. The fabric stays soft against the face and packs down into a travel bag or jacket pocket.
Dual side drawcords
Two cord channels run along the face opening so you can cinch the hood tight around the cheeks or leave it slack. The toggles adjust quickly when wind picks up on the trail.
Extended neck drape
The lower edge is lengthened to form a built-in gaiter that sits flat against the collarbone. It slides under coat collars and heavy outerwear without bunching up behind the neck.
Simple fleece care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar dark items to preserve the nap of the fleece. Line dry or tumble dry on low heat, and avoid iron heat to keep the pile soft.
