We cut this trail layer from a quick dry knit rated UPF 50+. The stand collar closes with a short front zip, and the long sleeves run straight to thumbhole cuffs that anchor the wrist. Royal blue runs solid through the body, collar, and flatlock seams.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Collar and front zip
The stand collar zips high on the neck and finishes with a fabric chin guard at the top. You can pull the zipper down to vent heat or close it entirely when the sun is directly overhead.
Sleeve and thumbhole cuffs
Long set-in sleeves finish with reinforced thumbholes at the wrist. Sliding your thumb through keeps the cuff anchored over the back of the hand while you walk or reach for a pack strap.
Side pockets
We set pockets into the side seams to hold small trail items without pulling at the front hem. The openings sit flat against the hip so the torso stays smooth when layered beneath an outer shell.
Fabric and wash care
The lightweight technical knit dries fast and carries a UPF 50+ rating from the mill. Machine wash cold with like colours on a gentle cycle, then hang dry or tumble dry on low heat.
