We cut this long sleeve layer from a quick-drying technical knit rated UPF 50+ by the mill. The quarter zip pulls up into a stand collar fitted with a chin guard, while the side seams house low-profile pockets. It is patterned in a cool blue camouflage print.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Stand collar and zip
The quarter zipper ends in a fabric garage so metal never rests against the neck. Pulled up high, the stand collar sits close around the base of the throat.
Sleeve and thumbhole
We cut the sleeves long through the forearm. Each cuff is finished with a reinforced thumbhole slot that keeps the sleeve anchored across the back of the hand.
Fabric and rating
The knit is smooth, light, and dries rapidly after a rinse. It carries a mill-tested UPF 50+ rating, woven densely enough to maintain its structure through regular motion.
Pockets and hem
Two drop-in side pockets are sewn flat along the forward side seams for keys or trail passes. The lower hem is straight and stitched with double-needle thread.
