We cut this quarter-zip pullover from a lightweight quick-dry knit with a certified UPF 50+ rating. The stand collar closes with a short front zip and a soft fabric guard at the chin. Long sleeves finish in set thumbholes to keep the cuffs seated over the wrist during movement on trail or court.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Collar and quarter zip

A stand collar extends upward for neck coverage and opens with a short nylon zipper. We added a soft chin guard at the top stop so the metal pull rests away from your neck when pulled all the way up.

Sleeve and thumbholes

The long sleeves are set plain at the shoulder for easy reach on the trail. Each cuff includes an integrated thumbhole slit that keeps the sleeve anchored down over the back of the hand.

Side pocket seams

We built low-profile pockets directly into the side seams. They lie flat against the torso when empty and hold a key, card or trail pass without pulling the straight hem out of alignment.

Floral print and care

A print of pink flowers runs across the black knit ground. Machine wash this layer in cold water on a gentle cycle and hang it to dry to preserve the stretch and quick-drying finish.
