We cut this long sleeve trail top from a quick-drying knit with a UPF 50+ rating. The front zipper runs into a stand collar with a small chin guard to keep the metal off your neck. Flat seams run down the sides, framing two low pockets.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Quarter zip and collar

The short zipper pulls up into a stand collar for higher neck coverage. We folded a small fabric guard over the top stop so the zipper pull rests flat against the throat.

Thumbhole cuffs

The sleeves run long through the wrist and finish with cut thumbholes. They hold the cuffs down over the back of the hand when you move.

Side pockets

We set two drop-in pockets directly into the side seams. They sit flat against the hip without adding bulk under a waist pack or jacket hem.

Fabric and print

The synthetic knit is lightweight, quick to dry, and printed in soft ocean wave tones. Wash it cold on a gentle cycle and hang it flat out of direct heat.
