We cut this long sleeve trail top from a lightweight, quick-drying knit carrying a UPF 50+ rating. The stand collar fastens with a quarter zip backed by a soft chin guard, while flat-stitched seams run along the torso to keep the profile clean under a pack. It is finished in a muted grey camouflage print.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Quarter zip collar

The stand collar pulls close with a quarter-length front zipper. We added a fabric guard at the top edge so the metal pull rests flat against the neck.

Thumbhole cuffs

The sleeves run long down the wrist and finish with inset thumbholes. They anchor the cuffs across the back of the hand and stay put when layered under an outer shell.

Side pockets

Slanted pockets are set into the side seams along the lower torso. The openings sit flat against the hip to hold a key or card without pulling the front panel.

Quick dry fabric

We chose a fine synthetic weave with UPF 50+ fabric certification that dries quickly after a wash. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and line dry in the shade.
