We cut this long sleeve trail layer with a quarter zip front and a high stand collar for neck coverage. The lightweight fabric carries a UPF 50 plus rating and dries quickly after washing. Side pockets sit flat against the body, and thumbholes at each cuff keep the sleeves anchored down the wrist.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Quarter zip collar
The front zipper ends in a soft chin guard so the metal stays off the throat. You can zip it right up to the chin or leave the stand collar spread flat when you want more airflow.
Thumbhole long sleeves
We cut the sleeves long enough to anchor over the knuckles using the reinforced thumbhole slots. The cuff seams sit smooth against the wrist so they do not catch when you swing an arm on the trail.
Diamond print fabric
A light synthetic weave with a dense UPF 50 plus rating that blocks direct light. The green diamond pattern is printed right into the yarn, keeping the surface flat and smooth to the touch across the whole body.
Side pockets and care
Two low-profile side pockets sit along the seam line for holding a key or trail pass. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then hang the top to dry out of high heat.
