We cut this quarter-zip pullover from a lightweight quick-dry fabric rated UPF 50 plus by the maker. The stand collar closes with a covered zip at the chin, and long sleeves end in thumbholes that keep the cuffs anchored over the back of the hand. Our Pink Leaves print covers the body and sleeves.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Quarter zip and collar

The stand collar zips up high to cover the neck, finished with a fabric guard at the top to keep the pull away from the chin. Unzip it low for ventilation on warm trails.

Sleeves and thumbhole cuffs

We set the sleeves long to meet the wrist securely. Thumbholes cut into the cuff seams keep the fabric pulled over the back of the hand as you swing a club or carry a pack.

Side pocket construction

Two low-profile pockets are sewn directly into the side seams. They sit flat against the hip when empty and hold keys, cards, or a trail pass without pulling the front panel out of shape.

Fabric and print care

The Pink Leaves pattern is set into a dense, smooth technical knit that sheds moisture quickly. Machine wash cold with like colours on a gentle cycle, then hang to dry out of direct heat.
