We cut this long sleeve trail layer with a high stand collar and a quarter-length front zip. The lightweight technical knit carries a UPF 50+ maker rating and dries quickly when wet. A smooth gradient transitions from blue at the shoulders down into purple at the hem.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Quarter zip collar

The front zipper runs to the base of the throat with an integrated chin guard at the top. You can pull it all the way up for full neck coverage or unzip it for airflow.

Sleeves and thumbholes

The long sleeves finish with cut-out thumb loops at the wrist cuffs. They anchor the cuffs over the back of the hand so the sleeves do not ride up during movement.

Gradient dye

The knit is dyed in a two-tone gradient that shifts from sky blue through the chest into deep violet at the hip. The print is set deep into the yarns so the colour remains even across the seams.

Side pockets and care

Two flush pockets are set directly into the side seams to hold small trail items. Wash this piece on a gentle cycle in cold water and hang it to dry.
