Square neck cut

The neckline is cut wide and square across the collarbone, holding its shape without gaping. It frames the throat cleanly and balances the volume of the gathered shoulders.

Shirred smocked bodice

We run elastic thread across the chest to create a flexible smocked panel. The shirring expands and recovers easily, anchoring the top before releasing into the looser lower body.

Puffed long sleeve

The sleeves gather at the shoulder seam for a rounded puff and taper down the arm into gathered cuffs. They add room through the upper arm and keep their volume when pushed up.

Care and washing

Wash this top by hand or on a cold machine cycle without bleach to protect the elastic shirring and the navy print. Hang it on a line to dry so the smocked body keeps its stretch.
