We cut this long trench coat from a coated weave in deep green to block wind and wet weather on the trail. The body is lined in striped cotton for a soft hand against layers, and the waist draws in with a cord to change the line. Long sleeves and an attached hood give full coverage.

Striped cotton lining
The interior is backed with a soft striped cotton fabric that adds a clean finish inside and keeps the coated outer shell from sticking to your arms or underlayers.
Hood and drawstrings
An attached hood panels high around the neck to keep drafts off the collar. Both the hood opening and the waist seam use adjustable drawstrings so you can cinch the fit against wind.
Pockets and front zip
Deep front pockets sit flat against the hips to hold small items on the road. The front closes with a full zipper running straight from the hem up into the hood base.
Care and maintenance
Machine wash on a gentle cycle or hand wash in cool water, then hang the coat to dry. Do not iron the shell, as direct heat can weaken the waterproof coating.
