We cut this double layer rain jacket from a dense, coated shell dyed in solid turquoise. Inside, a soft striped cotton lining runs through the body for weight against the breeze. The front fastens high to meet the attached hood, while a cord through the waist lets you alter the drape.

The details we cut in
Hood and neckline
The attached hood is cut deep enough to shed water away from the face. A threaded drawstring pulls the opening snug around the collar, which zips up high against the wind.
Waist drawstring
An internal drawcord runs through the waist seam. Cinch it to bring the midsection closer to the body, or leave it slack so the lightweight shell falls in a straight line over trail layers.
Double layer build
The outer weave is treated to shed light rain and dry quickly when you step inside. We line the body with a fine-striped cotton that feels soft against bare arms.
Pocket and hem
Front patch pockets sit low on the hips for small gear. Wash the piece by hand or on a gentle machine cycle, line dry, and do not iron the treated shell.
