A lightweight shell cut for wet trails and windy walks. We left it unlined to keep the weight down and added an internal elastic waistband to gather the midsection. The coated polyester fabric sheds light rain, dries quickly on the line, and packs down into its own small storage pouch.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Hood and front zip
We fitted the hood with adjustable drawstrings so you can pull it close against the wind. The front closure uses a coated zipper that runs all the way up to the collar to keep damp air off your neck.
Waist and hem
An elasticated band is set directly into the waist seam, pulling the fabric in slightly without restricting movement along the trail. The lower hem falls straight across the hips for everyday coverage over base layers.
Pockets and pack pouch
Two deep front patch pockets sit below the waist for gloves, keys, and trail maps. When the weather clears, the entire jacket folds down into a matching Amy Green pouch that packs easily into a daypack.
Care and maintenance
To protect the water-resistant coating on the shell, wipe the fabric clean with a damp cloth or rinse it under cool running water. Avoid machine washing and allow the jacket to hang dry fully before packing it.
