We cut this unlined rain jacket from a lightweight coated polyester weave dyed in clear pink. The shell sheds drizzle, cuts the wind, and packs down small into its matching carry pouch. Elastic cinches the natural waist, while the drop hem covers the back.

The details we cut in

Hood and front zip

We set an adjustable hood with cord toggles at the collar and finished the center front with a coated water-resistant zipper. Pull the cords snug when the wind picks up.

Elastic waistband and pockets

An elastic band gathers the waistline to keep the lightweight fabric close. Two roomy front patch pockets hold small trail items and give you a place to rest your hands.

Unlined packable shell

The polyester fabric is thin, unlined, and quick to dry after a sudden shower. It rolls into its own matching drawstring pouch, taking up minimal room inside a day pack.

Care and coating

Wipe the surface with a damp cloth or rinse with cool water after use. Machine washing can wear down the weather coating, so hang it to air dry instead.
