We cut this two piece set from a thin, non stretch cotton weave patterned in horizontal brown and white stripes. The top features a crew neckline and a concealed side zipper to help slip it on. Below, the matching shorts gather at the waist with an adjustable drawcord and sit square across the thighs.

The details we cut in

Top and side zipper

The sleeveless top is finished with a neat crew neckline and straight armholes. A hidden zipper sits along the side seam to allow easy dressing through the unyielding weave, letting the torso fall loose and straight without excess bulk.

Drawstring waistband

The shorts rest on a flexible waist gathered over elastic and secured with an exposed drawstring cord. This gives you room through the hips while keeping the rise anchored in place.

Slash side pockets

We set deep slash pockets into the side seams of the shorts. They sit flat against the hip when empty and hold small daily carry without pulling at the hemline.

Fabric and wash care

This is a lightweight cotton weave that breathes well and holds a crisp drape without stretch. Machine wash cold with like colours inside a laundry bag, skip the bleach, and hang the set to dry.
