We cut this warm-weather set from a thin cotton weave with a clean drape and no stretch. The top features a rounded crew neck and cap sleeves, finished with a hidden side zipper so it pulls on without pulling the collar out of shape. Below, the matching shorts sit on an adjustable drawstring waistband.

The details we cut in

Crew top with side zip

The top is cut with cap sleeves and a neat crew neck. We set a concealed zipper into the side seam to make dressing easy while keeping the front profile flat and clean.

Drawstring waistband

The shorts pull on with an elasticated waist threaded with an adjustable cord. You can cinch the rise where you prefer, whether worn high or resting lower on the hip.

Slash pockets

Two deep slant pockets sit along the side seams of the shorts. They lie smooth against the hip when empty and hold small daily items without pulling down the waistband.

Woven cotton care

This lightweight cotton fabric has a crisp, breathable hand. Machine wash cold with like colours inside a laundry mesh bag to protect the seams, skip the bleach, and hang dry.
