What went into it

The details we cut in

Top construction

We cut the top with a neat crew neckline and finished arm openings. A hidden side zipper runs along the seam so the woven cotton pulls on easily without needing stretch in the yarn.

Shorts waistband and pockets

The matching shorts sit on an elastic waistband threaded with a flat drawcord. We set two slash pockets into the side seams, deep enough to hold small carry items around the house.

Woven stripe fabric

This gray striped cotton is lightweight, breathable, and woven without added stretch. It hangs straight off the shoulder and leg rather than clinging, keeping its crisp structure through the day.

Laundering notes

Machine wash cold with like colors inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the seams and zipper. Skip the bleach and hang the set on a line to dry naturally.
