We cut this two piece set from a thin cotton weave with a woven pink check pattern. The sleeveless top has a clean crew neck and an inset side zipper for easy dressing. Below, the matching shorts sit on an adjustable drawstring waistband.

The details we cut in

Crew neck top

The top is cut with a neat crew neckline and cap sleeve coverage across the shoulders. A concealed side zipper opens the side seam so you can pull the non stretch shell on without pulling at the collar.

Drawstring waist

The shorts have an elasticated waist threaded with an adjustable self fabric drawcord. They hang straight down the leg, leaving enough room through the seat for easy movement around the house.

Slash side pockets

We set two deep slash pockets into the side seams of the shorts. They sit flat when empty and hold small items securely without adding bulk to the hip line.

Care and wash

Wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colours, ideally inside a mesh laundry bag. Skip the bleach and hang the set on a line or drying rack to dry.
