We cut this two piece set from a light cotton weave with no stretch. The top has a crew neckline and a concealed side zipper for easy dressing, while the shorts feature an adjustable drawstring waist and two deep slash pockets. It hangs loose and stays cool through warm weather.

The details we cut in

Crewneck top cut

The sleeveless shell has clean armholes and a neat round collar. We set a hidden zipper into the side seam so the top pulls on easily without widening the neckline.

Drawstring shorts waist

We gathered the waistband over an internal cord so you can adjust the rise and tension as you like. The cut stays wide through the leg for free movement.

Slash pockets

Two angled front pockets are stitched flat into the side seams of the shorts. They sit deep enough to hold daily items without pulling the waistband down.

Fabric and care

The thin cotton cloth has a crisp feel and holds the checkered pattern clearly. Wash in cold water inside a mesh laundry bag with like colours, avoid bleach, and hang the set to dry.
