We cut this two piece lounge set from a thin, woven cotton fabric that hangs straight without stretch. The sleeveless crewneck top closes with a hidden side zipper, paired with matching striped shorts drawn at the waist with an adjustable cord.

The details we cut in

Crewneck top and zipper

The tank top is cut with a neat crewneck and cleanly finished armholes. We set a concealed zipper into the side seam so you can step in and out of the top without straining the weave.

Drawstring waistband

The matching shorts sit on an elastic waistband threaded with a flat fabric drawstring. You can cinch the cord to your preferred fit, and the waistband stays flat under the hem of the top.

Slash side pockets

We set two deep slash pockets into the side seams of the shorts. They sit flat against the hip when empty and provide a place to rest your hands around the house.

Cotton fabric and care

The thin cotton cloth has a crisp hand and breathes well in warm weather. Wash on a cold cycle in a mesh laundry bag with similar colours, skip the bleach, and hang the set to dry.
