We cut this two piece lounge set from a soft, lightweight stretch knit. The top has a ribbed round neck with an inverted triangle stitch detail and side slits at the hem. Matching shorts rest on an elasticated drawstring waistband with set-in pockets.

What went into it
The details we cut in
Neckline and hem
A round collar finished with a small triangle inset at the throat anchors the top. Side slits open up the bottom hem so the knit drapes cleanly over the hips.
Drawstring waistband
The matching shorts sit high on the waist. We gathered the band around a wide elastic core and threaded a flat drawstring through the front so you can adjust the tension.
Deep side pockets
Two inset pockets are sewn into the side seams of the shorts. They lie flat against the leg when empty and hold small essentials when you are up and moving.
Fabric and wash
The knit has four-way stretch with a smooth, breathable face. Machine wash or hand wash in cold water without bleach, and skip high heat when pressing.
