What went into it
The details we cut in
Neck and hem details
We built the crew neck top with a small stitched triangle at the throat and side splits at the bottom hem so the fabric hangs straight instead of catching at the hips.
High waistband and cord
The shorts sit high on the waist with an elasticated band and a matching front drawstring. You can pull the cord tight or leave it loose for resting.
Side slit pockets
We set deep pockets right into the side seams of the shorts. They sit flat when empty and carry keys or a phone without pulling down the waistband.
Fabric and laundering
We used a lightweight, stretchy knit dyed in a flat army green. Wash on a gentle cycle or by hand in cool water, skip the bleach, and iron only on low heat.
