What went into it

The details we cut in

Neckline and side slits

We finished the crewneck with an inverted triangle stitch detail right below the collar. Small slits at the side seams let the hem drape cleanly over the shorts instead of bunching.

Waistband and cord

The shorts sit high on the waist with an elasticated band and a matching front drawstring. You can cinch them tight or let them rest loose.

Side pockets

We set angled patch pockets into the side seams of the shorts. They sit flat when empty and hold small items without pulling down the waistband.

Fabric and wash care

We chose a lightweight stretch knit that breathes well in warm weather. Wash on a gentle machine cycle or by hand in cool water, skip the bleach, and iron on low heat.
