We cut this two-piece set in a soft, lightweight knit with plenty of give. The top has short sleeves, an inverted triangle inset below the round neck, and small vents along the side hem. The matching shorts sit high on the waist with an adjustable drawcord.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Neckline and hem vents

We set a ribbed crewneck with a small triangle inset at the throat. Short side slits open the lower hem so the shirt moves easily when you sit or walk.

Drawstring waistband

The shorts are built with a wide elastic waistband and an exterior drawcord. You can adjust the pull to set the waist right where you prefer it.

Deep side pockets

Two inset side pockets are sewn flat into the hip seams of the shorts. They hold small items without pulling the waistband down.

Wash and care

Machine wash or wash by hand in cold water with mild detergent. Hang the set to dry or lay flat, and skip the bleach and high-heat iron.
