We cut this two-piece lounge set from a soft, lightweight stretch knit. The top has a clean round neck with a stitched notch below the collar, paired with relaxed shorts on an adjustable drawstring waistband. It is dyed in an even pink throughout.

What went into it

The details we cut in

Neckline and side slits

We cut the top with a round collar and an inverted triangle stitch detail right below the band. Small side slits at the hem give the waist room to move when you sit.

Waistband and drawcord

The shorts sit high on the waist with an enclosed elastic band. An exterior fabric drawstring lets you adjust the tension without bunching the knit awkwardly.

Pockets and hem cut

Deep slant pockets sit along the side seams of the shorts to hold small items. The leg hems are turned and stitched flat so they stay down.

Knit care

Machine wash cold or wash by hand with like colours. Do not use bleach, line dry to keep the stretch recover intact, and avoid high heat if you touch it with an iron.
