We cut this two piece set from a lightweight stretch knit with a soft brushed hand. The top has short sleeves, a small inset notch at the crew neck, and side slits at the hem. The matching shorts pull on with an elastic waist, an adjustable cord, and deep side pockets.

The details we cut in

Crew neck with inset notch

The round neckline sits flat against the collarbone with a small stitched triangle detail at the center front. Short set-in sleeves leave the arms free.

Side slit top hem

We vented the lower side seams so the hem clears the hips when you sit. The knit holds enough body to drape straight down rather than cling.

Drawstring waist and pockets

The shorts have an elastic waistband anchored with a matching drawcord. Two inset side pockets sit deep enough to carry a phone without pulling the shorts down.

Washing and care

Machine wash cold or hand wash to keep the brushed knit soft. Line dry or lay flat, avoid bleach, and press with a low iron only if needed.
